On March 1, a visit to Xinyang Special Fiber Co., Ltd. revealed a bustling production scene.

“In 2023, the company’s entire output of diacetate fiber tow was exported to over ten countries and regions—including the UAE, Russia, and Pakistan—with orders already booked through 2025,” said Ye Xiaobo, General Manager of Xinyang Special Fiber. This year, the company plans to launch two new diacetate fiber tow production lines and expand into markets such as South America and Africa.

Despite the headwinds of falling prices for chemical fertilizers and chemical products, Yichang has actively fostered market entities and leveraged open platforms to stabilize growth, resulting in a rapid increase in the export share of electromechanical and high-tech products.
